KA is a letter in the precolonial script of Baybayin. It has been interpreted as two rivers or spirits connecting one another. As a prefix it suggests companionship, togetherness, allyship. The KA symbol was popularized by the Filipino revolutionaries, the Katipuneros, and is still being used to this day by progressive organizations in the Philippines and its diasporas.

In this piece, the KA symbol is interlocked with itself to form a chain to symbolize our connectedness as allies. The piece is currently being circulated from one ally to another and as such has become an on-going performance piece.
